Easter 2011

She found her easter basket :) She love DORA and so we seem to get Dora themed things for her haha. She got a pair of Dora Pj's that I found on clearance last spring but she is BARELY getting into 3T clothes and they are 4T so it will be next year until she can wear them. A cute sun dress that my sister Kristi made, a Dora dvd, Dora Bubbles, some Moon Dough stuff..yeah that stuff is strange. It said on the package that it won't dry out which seemed strange to us but once we opened it we realized why. This stuff feels like corn starch but almost like cotton candy consistantcy. It was really strange but she loved playing with it.

Playing with the dough...it took a lot of pressure just to roll it into a ball and then it felt lighter then strofoam.

We finally got her to go outside to look for Easter eggs. She was so cute..we would say stuff like... I see something purple or I see something pink and she would put her hands to her eyes like binoculars to look for them.. I think she gets it from watching Dora haha. I wish I had gotten Video of it but the camera batterys were starting to die so it was a lost cause...

It was a fabulous afternoon, we love her tonz and are so lucky that things worked out that we could live so close to her.

3D Ultra Sound.

22 weeks!! We went for our big 3D ultrasound. It turned out really good. She is healthy and strong. We got to see her heart and her spin and her organs, etc. We even got her to cooperate a little bit to get some face shot which is pretty impressive since she normally won't turn so we can see the front of her. Always been back side shots :) Jon says she is stubborn like her momma :)

Hanneli April Visit

Hanneli kept putting on Jon's hat and running around the house. It drowned her so bad but it was so funny and adorable.

Since we aren't sure if we will be able to see Hanneli for Easter we decided it would be a good time to color eggs with her. There were a few that Jon put her name on before dieing them. They turned out to be her favorite :) She is fun to watch. I wanted to get pictures of her actually coloring the eggs but we ended up stripping her down to her undies and I didn't really feel like it I should take pictures. Through out the night she kept wanting to pull the eggs out to look at them and play with them :)

We were watching tangled and Hanneli crawled up into Jons lap. It was so cute I couldn't pass up the chance to take a picture. She loves her daddy very much :)

16 week appt

21 weeks Appt

Hanneli March Visit

We went up to see Hanneli, it was a blast! We made pizza with her which was hilarious! I wish I had dug out the camera to get pictures of her playing in the pizza dough. When it came time to putting the toppings on I poured the sauce on it and gave her a spoon and we both told her to go very slow...Well she is three.. she went through it really fast and splaced tomatoe sauce on Jon haha. So we kind of took over. We had her help us with the cheese and she would grab handfuls and dump it on the same spot haha we started putting the pepperoni on and Jon handed her a piece and told her to eat it..she took a bit of it and then put it on the Pizza. Aftewards we just played with her, she has had this balloon for 2 months and we had a blast playing with it...it eventually popped when we were playing with it but it was one of those amazing things that keeps it blown up :)

Jon and Hanneli disappeared for a little while and I went in to find this..Jon reading her stories. She just sat there loving every moment :)

Jon got her a cute sock monkey for Valentines day. We weren't able to see her until the first weekend of March because they had been sick and we didn't want to get sick. She loved it.

Jon and Hanneli playing around..

Jazz Game

I got Jon Jazz tickets for Christmas, we went to the February 6th game against Oakland. It was a pretty good game until the last half..which is normal for the Jazz :) They had a really good half time show. They had some jump ropers and then some guys who jumped on the trampolines and dunked basketballs. PLUS they have a mini Jazz bear now. It was really trippy the first time I saw him. :)

Those Snowey memory

So tonight Jon and I were watching Seinfeild and Elaine...I think is her name..was eating JuJu Fruits and Jon started to crave them..yeah he is definitely the one that gets the cravings during this pregnancy. I reminded him that it was snowing pretty hard outside but he knew he wanted it. So I laughed and said..uh okay. He first decided he wanted to take the truck and I thought okay..then he decided that he should take the car instead. I stayed behind to cut up some food..within about 5 mins he was back in the house. I was pretty shocked and then he tells me that the car is stuck in the snow. At first I thought he was totally playing around with me, but he was persistant. I asked him where and he said it was at the enterance and he slide and hit a pole... I was surprised that I didn't freak out that he hit a pole. I actually thought it was pretty funny and he was acting so cute..yes I know cheesy... So we get out to the truck so we can pull the car up. Now in all fairness it is a 90 degree turn up a hill so when it is snowey then the corner really sucks. Well we get there to see that there was no pole..nerd... but there was a snow bank that he hit..but it didn't do any damage. So he put his truck into 4-wheel drive and HE was sliding..yeah it was pretty scarey because I was afraid that he would accidentally hit the car. Well after a lot of pulling and pulling we finally got it out enough so I could pull the car back into the parking lot. Well of course Jon had to still go get his candy. So we went out in the truck...we got to the store to find that they didn't carry them! haha definitely a memorable and fabulous moment

Baby Buttrey

Soooo Jon and I are expecting our first baby together. We found out December 4th. I am due Aug 9th. Yeah right through the summer months, it should be fun! We are both very excited as neither of us were expecting it as we weren't really trying but not preventing. We went in for our first appt 12/22/2010 7 weeks along which worked out great for being able to announce it to family over Chritmas.
This is our first baby picture. When I saw it, the first question I asked my dr was that there was only one right? haha Jon's Step dad had made a joke once about how he can see Jon pushing triplets so that had been in the back of our minds. My dr tells me...yeah as far as I can tell...yeah that was really comforting!
There is only one!!!!
We went in for our 12 weeks appt on thursday. Baby was sleeping, I was kind of disappointed because I really wanted to see it move. I tried poking at my stomach but it didn't move :( Oh well... Our next appt is week 16 and if the baby cooperates we will find out what it is :)
LOOK it has arms and legs!!! oh its so cute and so unreal to think that I have that in me..its about 12.5 cm which is 4.9" long :)

January Visit With Hanneli

Ugh!! I put these pictures backwards again..oh well. We took Hanneli to McDonalds for dinner and some big wearing out on the play place.

This is at the end of the visit, she wanted Ice Cream :) It wasn't a very big cone but it was melting like crazy.

Jon and Hanneli waiting in line for Ice Cream.

Man this girl is freaking adorable and wore us out!! She loved this small slide and would go up and down it like crazy but then she would have Jon follow her through the tubes and tunnels. He was sweating from crawling through everything but loved every moment of it.
She got a kids meal and loved playing with the box and wearing it like a crown :)
She kept putting it on Jon's head and I had another picture that I took but I can't find it so this is what you get :)

Christmas 2010

For Christmas we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning in Cedar with Jon's Family and then headed Christmas afternoon to Fillmore with my parents for the rest of the weekend.

Jon and the boy's went snowboarding Christmas Eve. They were so excited to go and had a blast. Luckily no one had any broken bones but they were very sore and Jon was exhausted.

Nicole saved milk cartons and let the kids make 'gingerbread' houses. Well, Jaylynn made Kai's so I guess I should say the kids plus Jaylynn :)

Nicole helping Daemeon decorate his house

Kaylee and Daemeon going at it and loving it. We tried to do frosting in bags for them to squeeze on but we only had the snack size of baggie's and they broke open, so we just took a knife and spread the frosting onto the crackers for them.

Christmas morning was good. We didn't even start opening presents until 8ish and we had to wake up the only child in the house haha I Wish I had pulled my camera out more that morning but oh well... For Christmas Jon got me a nice winter coat and a Kitchen Aid mixer. For him I got him Jazz tickets, but I wanted to throw him off so I bought a Dr. Phil how to loose weight book and cut out the pages and put the tickets inside of the book. So when he unwrpapped it all he saw was the book and was like..uh what is this..so I told him that he needed to look at it and he was like...why right now..and I told him to just open it and that is when he saw them. It was pretty funny.

My fabulous Mother-In-Law looking at her new mixer

Nicole bought Joey the Red Rider BB Gun from the movie 'The Christmas Story'. So they went out and shot at a box in the back yard. I even went for a round...yeah I completely sucked at it but the boys had fun

Jon taking a shot...

Joey's turn..

Nicole got a new MP3 Player so she was getting it all set up.

The Big 3 years old!!!!

So Hanneli's birthday is Christmas Eve and so we took her to the Bowling alley for some Birthday/Christmas fun. I put these pictures in backwards and I didn't want to have to change them so you will have to just overlook it :)

My older sister made these little smock thingy's to sell a few years back and she had some left over that she was going to just get rid of so she gave us this one to give Hanneli, isn't she adorable!!!

They are eating her birthday cupcake that we brought for her

She has a big thing or Dora, so when I was working at Sears I ran across this cut plate set and had to get it. It came with a plastic mat, plate, bowl, fork, spoon and glass..if you look back at the first pic, jon is drinking out of the Dora Glass
Digging into her Birthday Cupcake
She could hardly wait to go bowling and had a blast doing it!
She would actully pick up the balls and carry them over. It was funny watching her because you could tell she was struggling because it was so heavy but she wanted to carry it. Jon was there to help out of course :)
Watching the ball going down....
Getting ready to push it
Sorry the pic is a little fuzzy :)
