Baby Buttrey

Soooo Jon and I are expecting our first baby together. We found out December 4th. I am due Aug 9th. Yeah right through the summer months, it should be fun! We are both very excited as neither of us were expecting it as we weren't really trying but not preventing. We went in for our first appt 12/22/2010 7 weeks along which worked out great for being able to announce it to family over Chritmas.
This is our first baby picture. When I saw it, the first question I asked my dr was that there was only one right? haha Jon's Step dad had made a joke once about how he can see Jon pushing triplets so that had been in the back of our minds. My dr tells me...yeah as far as I can tell...yeah that was really comforting!
There is only one!!!!
We went in for our 12 weeks appt on thursday. Baby was sleeping, I was kind of disappointed because I really wanted to see it move. I tried poking at my stomach but it didn't move :( Oh well... Our next appt is week 16 and if the baby cooperates we will find out what it is :)
LOOK it has arms and legs!!! oh its so cute and so unreal to think that I have that in me..its about 12.5 cm which is 4.9" long :)

January Visit With Hanneli

Ugh!! I put these pictures backwards again..oh well. We took Hanneli to McDonalds for dinner and some big wearing out on the play place.

This is at the end of the visit, she wanted Ice Cream :) It wasn't a very big cone but it was melting like crazy.

Jon and Hanneli waiting in line for Ice Cream.

Man this girl is freaking adorable and wore us out!! She loved this small slide and would go up and down it like crazy but then she would have Jon follow her through the tubes and tunnels. He was sweating from crawling through everything but loved every moment of it.
She got a kids meal and loved playing with the box and wearing it like a crown :)
She kept putting it on Jon's head and I had another picture that I took but I can't find it so this is what you get :)

Christmas 2010

For Christmas we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning in Cedar with Jon's Family and then headed Christmas afternoon to Fillmore with my parents for the rest of the weekend.

Jon and the boy's went snowboarding Christmas Eve. They were so excited to go and had a blast. Luckily no one had any broken bones but they were very sore and Jon was exhausted.

Nicole saved milk cartons and let the kids make 'gingerbread' houses. Well, Jaylynn made Kai's so I guess I should say the kids plus Jaylynn :)

Nicole helping Daemeon decorate his house

Kaylee and Daemeon going at it and loving it. We tried to do frosting in bags for them to squeeze on but we only had the snack size of baggie's and they broke open, so we just took a knife and spread the frosting onto the crackers for them.

Christmas morning was good. We didn't even start opening presents until 8ish and we had to wake up the only child in the house haha I Wish I had pulled my camera out more that morning but oh well... For Christmas Jon got me a nice winter coat and a Kitchen Aid mixer. For him I got him Jazz tickets, but I wanted to throw him off so I bought a Dr. Phil how to loose weight book and cut out the pages and put the tickets inside of the book. So when he unwrpapped it all he saw was the book and was like..uh what is this..so I told him that he needed to look at it and he was like...why right now..and I told him to just open it and that is when he saw them. It was pretty funny.

My fabulous Mother-In-Law looking at her new mixer

Nicole bought Joey the Red Rider BB Gun from the movie 'The Christmas Story'. So they went out and shot at a box in the back yard. I even went for a round...yeah I completely sucked at it but the boys had fun

Jon taking a shot...

Joey's turn..

Nicole got a new MP3 Player so she was getting it all set up.

The Big 3 years old!!!!

So Hanneli's birthday is Christmas Eve and so we took her to the Bowling alley for some Birthday/Christmas fun. I put these pictures in backwards and I didn't want to have to change them so you will have to just overlook it :)

My older sister made these little smock thingy's to sell a few years back and she had some left over that she was going to just get rid of so she gave us this one to give Hanneli, isn't she adorable!!!

They are eating her birthday cupcake that we brought for her

She has a big thing or Dora, so when I was working at Sears I ran across this cut plate set and had to get it. It came with a plastic mat, plate, bowl, fork, spoon and glass..if you look back at the first pic, jon is drinking out of the Dora Glass
Digging into her Birthday Cupcake
She could hardly wait to go bowling and had a blast doing it!
She would actully pick up the balls and carry them over. It was funny watching her because you could tell she was struggling because it was so heavy but she wanted to carry it. Jon was there to help out of course :)
Watching the ball going down....
Getting ready to push it
Sorry the pic is a little fuzzy :)

Hanneli Visit

Jon headed to Logan to spend some time with Hanneli. Normally they go hit up the park but with the weather change then they went and hit up Mcdonalds and let her run wild at the play center.
She was excited as always to see him and spend time with him. She is such a Daddy's Girl. I didn't get to go up this time since I was working but they had fun with just some one on time.

They had a blast and we love being so close to her!! I wish I had more commentary but I don't :) So I hope you enjoy the photos.

My Greasy Monkey

So we needed to change out the roters on the passat REALLY BAD..like since before May. Well Jon decided that he was going to do it while the weather was still good and all that fun stuff. The morning kind of started off wrong on Saturday. I had to work at 6am. I texted Jon about 10 to see how things were coming and he was still in bed. So he jumps out of bed and we realize that I have the key to the car with me. We only have 1 key because we haven't wanted to drop the $100 for a new one since they are chipped. So I split on my lunch and ran home to give him the key. I get back to work about 10:30am. I get home at 12:30 to find him still working on the same side. I started to worry but it turned out that we needed more things that we originally planned so he had to run to the store and pick up a few more things to pull the bolts off and so on. Once he pulled it off I couldn't believe how low the level was on the roters...I am glad we got them all changed out. I had to pull out my camera because he was so greasy and dirty. I took the first pictures and the first thing out of his mouth is...This better not go on facebook... I kind of laughed and told him it wasn't... just the blog :)

He cracked the second one out really fast and got it pretty much back together to realize he forgot a clip on the breaks so he had to pull the tire back off to put it on. It was pretty funny. Thank you Jared for helping him over the phone figure out what he is doing completely.
